Debout face à une cimaise servant de surface de captation, je trace au charbon de manière répétitive un cercle de mon envergure dont la forme évolue et se transforme. Le son tient une place centrale dans la perception de l’œuvre. Il est modulé par le mouvement, le support et l’acoustique du lieu.

Au fur et à mesure, le morceau de charbon se désagrège. Il se réduit en poussière et le dessin s’agrandit, formant une expansion qui se réalise par la ruine et l’exploitation extrême des matériaux. La durée de la performance est ainsi définie par l’épuisement du geste et en fonction de l’évolution de la composition.

Se dessine ainsi l’empreinte visuelle et acoustique de l’effort qui invite à plonger dans un flux de sons concrets propices à la méditation. La contemplation de cet éternel retour 
soulève des questionnements sur le devenir et la transformation.

Standing in front of a cima serving as a capture surface, I repetitively draw with charcoal a circle of my size, whose shape evolves and is transformed. Sound takes a central place in the perception of the work. It is modulated by the movement, the support and the acoustics of the place.

As and when, the piece of coal disintegrates. It is reduced to dust and the drawing is enlarged, forming an expansion that is realized by the ruin and extreme exploitation of materials. The duration of the performance is thus defined by the exhaustion of the gesture and according to the evolution of the composition.

This draws the visual and acoustic imprint of the effort that invites us to dive into a flow of concrete sounds conducive to meditation. Contemplation of this eternal return raises questions about becoming and transformation.
